Our school prides itself on having many excellent and experienced instructors. All instructors go through a rigorous instructor training program and are recognized experts in their fields.
Master Bill Pottle is the current KAT Head Master in charge of all KAT programs. You can read his full biography.
Master Bob McKenna – Master Bob McKenna is our highest ranking black belt. Master McKenna has been studying martial arts for almost 40 years, and is a 7th dan in TKD under Grand Master Mountain Kim. He also holds a second dan rank in American Freestyle Karate and a first dan in Hapkido. He is an international TKD referee and who has officiated at many events, including the US Olympic Team trials, and was referee director for over 10 years for Colorado State Taekwondo.
Master LaRon Younger has a 4th degree Black Belt in Taekwondo as well as a 2nd degree Black Belt in Hapkido. He has made a name for himself in many tournaments, including earning a silver medal at the U.S. Open Championships, and a gold medal at the National Championships. Instructor LaRon is currently a CPR/First Aid instructor as well.
Instructor Kyle Landon is a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo. He is currently interning at the Korean Academy of Taekwondo in Aurora, CO to learn how to run a martial arts school. Instructor Kyle is also the co-captain of the Demo team, under Master Ryan Tomas. He teaches two after school programs, High Point Academy which is in its 3rd year, and Vanguard Classical School.
